BiCando® Gel

BiCando Gel is a dietetic complementary feed for piglets.
BiCando is effective in stabilizing the fluid- and electrolyte balance in case of digestive disturbances (diarrhea) in piglets.
BiCando contains fibres, which has a positive effect on digestive disturbances in piglets.

BiCando has a unique composition of specially treated plant fibres, electrolytes and easily digestible carbohydrates in a thick liquid solution.

Usage

BiCando can be used preventively at risk of digestive disturbances.
BiCando kan be used alone in mild cases of digestive disturbances and in combination with antibiotic treatment in case of severe digestive disturbances.

If BiCando is used in combination with antibiotic treatment it reduces the, it reduces the harmful effect on the intestinal flora and support a rapid restoration of the natural intestinal flora.

BiCando can be uses preventively at risk of digestive disturbances (diarrhea) or as soon as the digestive disturbances occur.

BiCando kan be used alone or combination with antibiotic treatment, where it reduces the antibiotics negative effect on the intestinal flora.

BiCando is in a thick liquid formulation and is specially adapted to the digestive system of the piglet.

BiCando is composed of specially treated plant fibres, electrolytes and easily digestible energy.

BiCando makes it possible to reduce the antibiotic usage in an simple an economical way.

Dosage

Dose: 1 dose = 2 pump strokes (4 ml).

Mild cases:

1-2 times daily for 1-2 days. It could be beneficial to give the dose both in the morning and evening.

Supplement to antibiotic treatment:

1 dose together with the antibiotic treatment, followed by 1 dose the day after. This will stabilize the intestinal microbiota.

How does BiCando work

BiCando contains fibres, which have a positive effect on digestive disturbances in piglets.

Together with fluid some fibres form a gel, which protects the intestinal villi and lubricates the intestine. Other fibres bind harmful bacteria and toxins that afterwards are excreted with the manure. Furthermore, the fibres have a prebiotic effect as they support the growth of the beneficial intestinal bacteria.

The electrolytes secure a fast restoration of the fluid and electrolyte balance, so that the piglet is not weakened by dehydration.

Dextrose and other easily digestible carbohydrates supply the piglet with easily absorbed energy and stimulate the absorption of electrolytes in the intestine.
