DOXYMED SUPER

DOXYMED SUPER is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing a high concentration of doxycycline hyclate, used to treat infections caused by doxycycline-susceptible bacteria, including Mycoplasma and certain Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is suitable for respiratory, digestive, and secondary bacterial infections in pigs and poultry.

Uses and Indications

DOXYMED SUPER is indicated for the treatment of:

• Respiratory and digestive tract infections caused by doxycycline-susceptible bacteria.

In Poultry:

• Chronic respiratory disease (CRD), pneumonia, and airsacculitis caused by Mycoplasma spp.

In Pigs:

• Pneumonia and bronchitis caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae

• Secondary bacterial infections of the respiratory and digestive tracts

Dosage and Administration

Administration: Mix with feed or dissolve in drinking water.
Treatment duration: 3–5 days.

For Poultry:

• Doxycycline hyclate dosage: 25 mg/kg body weight/day

• Equivalent to 50 mg DOXYMED SUPER/kg body weight/day

For Pigs:

• Doxycycline hyclate dosage: 10 mg/kg body weight/day

• Equivalent to 20 mg DOXYMED SUPER/kg body weight/day, divided into 1–2 doses per day.
