Pleurogal is an advanced dual vaccine designed to help protect pigs against porcine pleuropneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (APP) and swine pasteurellosis. It supports protection against important respiratory diseases, helping reduce disease-related losses in pig production.
APP-produced toxins: APX I, APX II, and APX III.
Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (APP): Serovars 2, 4, and 9.
Pleurogal is intended for the prevention of:
Porcine pleuropneumonia caused by APP.
Swine pasteurellosis.
The vaccine also helps support herd health by:
Helping reduce mortality, lung lesions, and the risk of disease transmission within the herd.
Supporting pig health during vulnerable stages and periods of environmental stress.
Dual protection: Combines protection against APP and swine pasteurellosis, incorporating three APX toxins associated with severe lung damage.
Enhanced immune response: Contains aluminum hydroxide as an adjuvant to support the immune response and duration of protection.
Helps reduce lung damage: Supports the reduction of bacterial impact on lung tissue and may help limit the severity of lung lesions.
Helps reduce treatment costs: Effective vaccination may help improve disease control and reduce the need for antibiotic treatment.
Dosage: 2 ml per animal per injection.
