Oxytetracycline has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and is used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:
Pneumonia and respiratory tract infections
Gastrointestinal infections
Reproductive and urinary tract infections
Metritis and mastitis
Septicemia, dermatitis, and arthritis
Active against susceptible pathogens, including:
Streptococcus spp. and Staphylococcus spp.
E. coli and Salmonella spp.
Pasteurella spp.
Mycoplasma spp.
Rickettsia spp. and Chlamydia spp.
Spirochetes
Long-acting (LA) formulation: Helps reduce injection frequency.
Broad-spectrum antibacterial activity: Acts against a range of susceptible bacteria.
Supports the treatment of secondary and mixed bacterial infections when indicated.
Convenient for individual animal treatment and herd treatment.
Livestock (buffaloes, cattle, goats, and sheep):
Intramuscular injection: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight.
Piglets weighing less than 10 kg:
1 ml per piglet, according to the product instructions.
If necessary: The injection may be repeated after 3 days, in accordance with veterinary guidance and the approved product label.
