DOXYVETO-CITRIX 500MG/G

DOXYVETO-CITRIX 500 mg/g is a water-soluble antibiotic powder containing 500 mg/g of doxycycline hyclate, formulated for rapid dissolution, excellent solution stability, and good absorption. It is designed to help control complex respiratory and gastrointestinal infections in pigs and poultry caused by doxycycline-susceptible bacteria.

Composition

• Doxycycline hyclate: 500 mg/g
  (Equivalent to 433 mg of doxycycline base)

Indications

For the treatment of respiratory and gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria susceptible to doxycycline.

Poultry:

• Chronic respiratory disease (CRD), pneumonia, and airsacculitis associated with Mycoplasma spp. and E. coli.

Pigs:

• Pneumonia associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (APP), Streptococcus spp., and Mycoplasma spp.
• Enteritis associated with Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium colinum.

Dosage and Administration

Pigs:

• 10 mg doxycycline hyclate/kg body weight/day.
• Equivalent to 20 mg of product/kg body weight/day.
