Avipro® Precise

Vaccine against Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD/Gumboro) in Chickens

Avipro® Precise is a live attenuated vaccine containing an intermediate strain, designed to induce rapid immunity and provide early protection while helping maintain a healthy bursa of Fabricius. The vaccine can overcome maternally derived antibody levels of up to ELISA 250.

Dosage Form

Live attenuated, freeze-dried vaccine.

Route of Administration

Oral administration via drinking water.

Active Ingredient

Each dose contains at least:

• Live attenuated IBD virus, strain LC-75: 10³ EID₅₀.

EID₅₀: 50% Egg Infectious Dose.

Indications

For active immunisation of healthy chickens to:

• Protect against Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD/Gumboro).
• Reduce the clinical signs of the disease.
• Reduce severe lesions in the bursa of Fabricius (bursa).

Target Species

Chickens – broilers, breeders, and laying hens.

Dosage

1 dose per bird.

Directions for Use

Vaccinate chickens from 7 days of age onwards.

Broilers:

• Without maternally derived antibodies (MDA): From 7 days of age.
• With maternally derived antibodies (MDA): From 14 days of age.

Breeder and Laying Hens:

• Without maternally derived antibodies (MDA): From 7 days of age.
• With maternally derived antibodies (MDA): From 3–4 weeks of age.
