Vaccine against Mycoplasma gallisepticum Infection in Chickens

Avipro® MG F is a live attenuated vaccine containing the F strain of Mycoplasma gallisepticum. It helps protect chickens against clinical signs associated with M. gallisepticum infection, while also helping protect flocks against airsacculitis, egg production losses, and egg transmission. The vaccine allows early vaccination from 5–6 weeks of age via eye drop administration, providing the advantage of local immunity in the upper respiratory tract.

Active Ingredient

Each dose contains:

• Mycoplasma gallisepticum, strain F: at least 7.94 × 10⁶ CCU.

Indications

This live attenuated vaccine helps to:

• Protect chickens against clinical signs associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection.
• Protect against airsacculitis.
• Help reduce egg production losses.
• Help prevent egg transmission.

Target Species

Chickens.

Dosage

1 dose per bird.

Directions for Use

Via drinking water:

• Vaccinate chickens from 12 weeks of age onwards.
• Do not vaccinate later than 4 weeks before the onset of lay.

Via eye drop:

• Chickens may be vaccinated from 5–6 weeks of age.

Withdrawal Period

21 days before slaughter.
