Each 1 g contains:
Lincomycin (as lincomycin hydrochloride): 222 mg
Spectinomycin (as spectinomycin sulfate): 444.7 mg
In pigs: For the prevention and treatment of:
Swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae.
Porcine intestinal proliferative disease (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis and associated enteric pathogens, including Escherichia coli.
In poultry: For the prevention and treatment of:
Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
Infections caused by Escherichia coli.
Diseases associated with low mortality rates.
Conditions within the indicated disease groups must be identified and confirmed before the product is used.
Do not use in animals hypersensitive to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.
Do not use in animals with impaired liver function.
Rabbits, rodents, horses, and ruminants must not have access to drinking water or feed containing lincomycin.
Do not use in laying hens.
For oral administration via feed or, preferably, drinking water.
L-SPEC-100 S is intended to be administered in the daily drinking water supply until the medicated water has been consumed. Unmedicated water may be provided for the remainder of the day, if necessary. Prepare a fresh solution daily.
Poultry
Prevention: 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S per 200 L of drinking water for 3–5 days. Treatment may begin during the first days of life and be repeated during periods of stress or vaccination.
Treatment: 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S per 150 L of drinking water for 3–7 days.
Pigs
Prevention: 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S per 2–3 tonnes of feed daily for 8 weeks, starting at weaning.
Treatment:
Via drinking water: 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S per 1,500 L of drinking water for 1 week.
Via feed: 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S per 900 kg of feed for 1 week, followed by 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S per 1–3 tonnes of feed for 3 additional weeks.
Treatment should begin as soon as the first clinical signs appear.
